CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION No. R - 8 3 -12 8
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE BROWARD 00= 201
FACILITIES PLAN UPDATE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Broward County Commission undertook a program to update
the 201 Facilities Plan due to revised population and flow projections and
revised waste -water effluent criteria; and,
WHEREAS, the local governments in the planning area have cooperated
in the development of the 201 Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Plan has been completed in accordance with Environmental
Protection Agency requirements; and,
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was duly noticed and held in the County
Commission meeting room, Broward County Courthouse, Fort Lauderdale, Florida,
on August 19, 1982, and March 17, 1983; and,
WHEREAS, the 201 Facilities Plan will be a useful tool in reaching
decisions in the operation and expansion of the wastewater treatment facilities
in Broward County; and,
WHEREAS, it is recognized that the best available data was used in
formulating the assumptions for future development upon which the Plan is based.
NOW, UM�EFIORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. The 201 Facilities Update adopted by the County Commission
at meetings held on August 19, 1982 and March 17, 1983 is hereby approved
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall beccme effective upon adoption.
