CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. RLr

A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF PARKING
FOR EXXON COMPANY, U.S.A., AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER
OF SOUTHGATE BOULEVARD AND NW 88 AVENUE; PETITION
#4-Z-83; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that
Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street parking and load-
9 ing requirements whenever a hardship would exist by adhering to strict
10 application thereof, and further provides that the waiver would not be
11 detrimental to public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of
12 ithe City; and

WHEREAS, a hardship exists at Exxon Company, U.S.A., at the
southwest corner of Southgate Boulevard and NW 88 Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing
161thereon and has made a recommendation; and
171 WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
''AIlimited waiver requested in the application of Exxon Company, U.S.A.,
Petition #4-Z-83.
211NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
22 FLORIDA:
23 SECTION 1: That the application for permitting 900 parking
24 at Exxon Company, U.S.A., Service Station at the southwest corner of
25 Southgate Boulevard and NW 88 Avenue,
26
27 is HEREBY APPROVED, and such limited waiver x4ould not be detrimental to
28 the public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City.
29 SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon
30 .adoption.
