CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- 82-6
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF PARKING
FOR PLAZA DEL SOL (NORTHEAST CORNER OF NW 57 STREET
AND NW 88 AVENUE, TAMARAC); AND PROVIDING AN EFFEC-
TIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that Council may grant
a limited waiver of the off-street parking and loading requirements whenever a
hardship would exist by adhering to strict application thereof, and further provides
that•the waiver would not be detrimental to public safety, health and welfare of the
citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at PLAZA DEL SOL, located at the northeast corner
of NW 57 Street and NW 88 Avenue, Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing thereon and has
made a recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the limited waiver
requested in the application of PLAZA DEL SOL, located at the northeast corner of
.7 I NW 57 Street and NW 88 Avenue, Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
i SECTION 1: That the application of PLAZA DEL SOL, located at the northeast
corner of NW 57 Street and NW 88 Avenue, Tamarac, is HEREBY APPROVED, and such

limited waiver would not be detrimental to the public safety, health and welfare of
the citizens of the City.
SECTION 2: CONDITIONS (if any): WAIVER APPROVED FOR 21 SPACES; 2 SPACES
SHALL BE MARKED FOR HANDICAPPED PARKING.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
