CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R — g
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. R-82-28.
AWARDING THE LAWN MAINTANANCE CONTRACT AND
REAWARDING SAID CONTRACT.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac advertised for bids for lawn maintenance
service in the Fort Lauderdale News on December 30, 1981 and January 6, 1982; and
WHEREAS, Quality Lawn Service submitted the lowest fully responsive
and responsible bid; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did vote to award the contract to Quality
Lawn Service, Inc., on February 10, 1982 in Resolution #R-82-28; and
WHEREAS, there was a computation error contained within Resolution
#R-82-28; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to correct the error and to reaward
the contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMAMC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the recitations contained above are true and correct.
SECTION 2: That Resolution IfR--82-28 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That the bid of Quality Lawn Service in the amount of
(.000690, per square foot (Price per cutting $4,198.30) based upon a gross cutting
area of 6,084,500 square feet is hereby approved. However, if the cutting area
is rpre or less, then_ the price is to be adjusted proportionately. The scope of
the work may be modified by the City Manager. The award is for a period extendine
'from February, 1982 through September 30, 1984.
SECTION 4: This resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 24th day of February, 1982.

in the bid package.

total price.
