RESOLUTION NO. -R- g2
TEMP.# 2574
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE SIGN ORDINANCE REQUESTED
BY CONTINENTAL PLAZA, 6635 W. COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD, PERTAINING
TO LOCATION OF A GROUND SIGN; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Continental Plaza has requested a waiver
from'the Sign Ordinance NO. 80-34 (Code Section 21) governing signs; and
WHEREAS, the Beautification Committee reviewed this request and
has made recommendation thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official reviewed said waiver.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA.
SECTION 1: That the waiver to the Sign Ordinance requested by
Continental Plaza, 6635 W. Commercial Boulevard,
for a ground sign on W. Commercial Boulevard
is hereby approved.
SECTION 2: Conditions of Approval (if any): There shall be a hedge no
less than 30-inches between the sidewalk and the parking lot and three (3)
trees shall be placed in that same landscaped area.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this day of 1982.
