WHEREAS, The City Council authorized the Administration
S to go to bid at its meeting on October 13, , 1982 , and,
9 WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Mi omi Herald
10 a newspaper of general circulation in Broward County on October 20
and October 27 198 2 , and
12 WHEREAS, bids were opened on Novermber 29 198 2 , and
13 WHEREAS, Boyle Construction Company is the lowest fully
14 responsive and responsible bidder.
3.5 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
16 OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

1. The undersigned BIDDER proposes and agrees, if this Bid is accepted, to
enter into an Agreement with OWNER in the form included in the Contract
Documents to complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract
Documents for the Contract Price and within the Contract Time indicated
in this Bid and in accordance with the Contract Document.
2. BIDDER accepts all of the terms and conditions of the Instructions to
Bidders, including without limitation those dealing with the disposition
of Bid Security. This Bid will remain open for sixty days after the day
of Bid opening. BIDDER will sign the Agreement etid submit the Contract
Security and other documents required by the Contract Documents within
fifteen days after the date of.OWNER's Notice of Award.
3. In submitting this Bid, BIDDER represents, as more fully set forth in the
Agreement, that:

In the event that additions to, or deductions from, the work shown on the
Plans or described in the Specifications are made, the bidder agrees that the
following unit prices shall be used in making additions to, or deductions
from, the Contract Documents.

5. BIDDER agrees that the Work will be substantially completed within 160
calendar days after the date when the Contract Time commences to run, and
completed within 180 calendar days after the date when the Contract Time
commences to run.
BIDDER accepts the provisions of the Agreement as to liquidated damages
in the event of failure to complete the Work on time. 41
6. The undersigned agrees as follows:
Accompanying this Proposal is a cashier's check or bid bond (.1K of Total
Bid Price) for $ •S/o payable to the City of Tamarac which is
to be forfeited if, in the event that this Proposal is accepted, the
undersigned shall fail to execute the contract and furnish satisfactory
Contract Security under the conditions and within the time specified in
the Instructions to Bidders; otherwise, said cashier's check or bid bond
is to be returned as provided herein.
7. Communications conerning this Bid shall be addressed to the address of
BIDDER indicated below.
8. The terms used in this Bid which are defined in the General Conditions of
the Construction Contract included as part of the Contract Documents have
the meanings assigned to them in the General Conditions.
