CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-82-35,2
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF PARKING
FOR UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, PETITION #36-Z-82
FOR THE DOCTORS' PARKING AREA AT 7201 N. UNIVERSITY
DRIVE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that Council may grant
a limited waiver of the off-street parking and loading requirements whenever a
hardship would exist by adhering to strict application thereof, and further pro-
vides that the waiver would not be detrimental to public safety, health and welfare
of the citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at University Community Hospital, 7201 N. Univer-
sity Drive, Tamarac; and '
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing thereon and has
made a recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the limited waiver re-
quested in the application of University Community Hospital.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application for a limited waiver of parking for
University Community Hospital, 7201 N. University Drive, Tamarac, is HEREBY APPROVE[
and such limited waiver would not be detrimental to the public safety, health and
welfare of the citizens of the City.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval.
