A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC CONFIRMING AN INTER -
LOCAL AGREEMENT WITH BROWARD COUNTY AND AUTHORIZING THE
PAYMENT OF THE SUM OF $11,850.00 TO BROWARD COUNTY UNDER
THE TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT AND PROVIDING FOR EXECUTION
OF SAID AGREEMENT BY THE APPROPRIATE CITY OFFICIALS.
WHEREAS the County and the City have agreed to participate in an
amendment to the 201 Update; and
WHEREAS that agreement requires official approval of the City
Council of the City of Tamarac and the payment of the sum of eleven thousand
eight hundred fifty dollars ($11,850.00);
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
That the proposed Interlocal Agreement between Broward County and the
City of Tamarac is hereby approved and the appropriate municipal officers are
authorized to execute the same on behalf of Tamarac, and the Finance Director is
directed to prepare a check in the amount of $11,850.00 payable to Broward County,
which shall be transmitted herewith to the County Administrator of Broward County.

A 201 STUDY AMENDMENT
For
A SPRAY IRRIGATION PROGRAM FOR THE CITY OF TAMARAC
THIS AGREEMENT, entered into this day of ,
1982, by and between the City of Tamarac, Florida, a municipal corporation
existing under the laws of the State of Florida (hereinafter referred to as CITY),
through its City Council and Broward County, Florida, a political subdivision
of the State of Florida (hereinafter referred to as COUNTY) by its Board of County
Commissioners,
WITNESSETH THAT:
WHEREAS, Broward County has prepared a 201 Facilities Plan for all of
Broward County, and County is in the process of considering a 201 Facilities Plan
Update, which includes the North Region of Broward County, which region includes
the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, neither the original 201 Plan nor the updated plan fully
answers local concern with possible alternatives for treatment and disposal of
existing and future sewage flows and sludge processing and disposal; and
WHEREAS, the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency, (EPA) has directed
that a 201 Amendment Study be conducted for the North Broward Regional Waste-
water service area; and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing held by the County on August 19, 1982 the
City of Tamarac agreed to pay the costs necessary to amend the 201 Update to
include a spray irrigation program for the City of Tamarac which such program
was unanimously approved by COUNTY,
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the above and the mutual
covenants contained herein the parties hereto agree as follows:

The COUNTY covenants and agrees:
That in consideration of the CITY'S -funding of the contract with
Russell and Axon Incorporated, the COUNTY will have prepared a written amend-
ment to the 201 Update to incorporate a spray irrigation program for the City
of Tamarac rather than total connection of the City of Tamarac to the North
Regional Plant.
SECTION 2
The CITY covenants and agrees:
That it will reimburse the COUNTY the sum of eleven thousand,
eight hundred fifty dollars ($11,850.00). (Tender and receipt thereof is
hereby acknowledged).
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have made and executed this
Agreement on the respective dates under each signature: CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA, by and through its City Council; and BROWARD COUNTY, through its
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, signing by and through its Chairman, authorized
to execute same by Board action on the day of
