RESOLUTION NO. R-82-�oZ
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A RIGHT-OF-WAY DEED
OFFERED BY E.K.L. DEVELOPERS FOR A 40-FOOT
STRIP OF LAND ON UNIVERSITY DRIVE FOR THE
EXECUTIVE CENTER PROJECT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Right -of -Way Deed offered by E.K.L.
Developers for a 40-foot strip of land on University Drive, identified
as the west 40-feet of Lot 5, together with the west 40-feet of the
north one-half of Lot 6, Block 11, Lyon's Commercial Subdivision No. 3,
as recorded in Plat Book 76, Page 31, of the Public Records of Broward
County, Florida, for the Executive Center project, is hereby approved
and accepted, a copy of said deed being attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
SECTION 2: The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
record said Right -of -Way Deed in the Public Records of Broward County,
Florida.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.

TO THE CITY OF TAMARAC

COUNTY OF BROWARD
THIS INDENTURE, made this 21 clay of EofevA 6�
1982, by and between E.K.L. DEVELOPERS, a Florida general
partnership, whose address is 1000 South Ocean Boulevard, Suite
PH-D, Pompano Beach, Florida 33062, party of the first part, and
the CITY OF TAMARAC, a Municipal corporation of the State of
Florida, and its successors in interest, whose principal place of
business is 5811 Northwest 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Broward County,
Florida 33321, party of the second part.
W I T N E S S E T H:
That the said party of the first part, for and in consid-
eration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) to it in hand paid by
the party of the second part, receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, and for other and further good and valuable
considerations, does hereby grant, bargain and sell to the party
of the second part, and its successors in interest, for the
purpose of a public road right-of-way and purposes incidental
thereto, the following described land, situate, lying and being
in the County of Broward, State of Florida, to wit:
Road right-of-way for State Road 817 (known as
University Drive), located on the West 40 feet
of Lot 5, together with the West 40 feet of the
North one-half of Lot 6, Block 1 1 , LYON'S
COMMERCIAL SUBDIVISION NO. 3, as recorded in
Plat Book 76, Page 31 of the Public Records of
Broward County, Florida
It is the intention of the party of the first part by this
instrument to convey to the said City, and its successors in
interest, the land above described for use as a public road
right-of-way and for all purposes incidental thereto.
The said party of the first part will defend the title to
said land against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever,
claiming by, through or under it.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said party of the first part has
signed and sealed these presents on this, the day and year first
above written.
