CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-��
A RESOLUTION RELEASING A PERFORMANCE BOND POSTED
FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS BY HEFTLER REALTY CO. FOR
HEFTLER HOMES SIDEWALKS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFEC-
TIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Heftler Realty Co., as Principal, and First American Bank of
Palm Beach County, as Surety, has filed with the City Letter of Credit No. 119F, in
the amount of $22,290.00, to guarantee public improvements at Heftler Homes for
sideAlks; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has found that a portion of the work has been
satisfactorily completed and has recommended release of said letter of credit subject
to the following conditions:
1 - Receipt of a one-year warranty bond in the amount of
$2,925.00 for the completed sidewalks; and
2 - Receipt of a performance bond in the amount of $14,640.00
for the balance of the sidewalks yet to be installed; and
3 - Payment of additional engineering fees due in the amount of
$1,654.40.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Letter of Credit No. 119E posted by Heftler Realty Co.
as Principal, and First American Bank of Palm Beach County, as Surety, in the amount
of $22,290.00, for sidewalks at Heftler Homes, is HEREBY RELEASED, subject to the
following conditions:
1 - Receipt of a one-year warranty bond in the amount of
$2,925.00 for the completed sidewalks; and
2 - Receipt of a performance bond in the amount of $14,640.00
for the balance of the sidewalks yet to be installed; and
3 - Payment of additional engineering fees due in the amount of
$1,654.40.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
