CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- .►77
A RESOLUTION AMENDING A BID A6MRD FOR A
TV/SEAL TRUCK MOUNTED SYSTEM, BID #81-39,
AND REPEALING RESOLUTION R-82-1 WHICH
AWARDED SAID BID; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the administration to go to bid at i
meeting of November 12, 1981, and accordingly, bids were advertised in the Fort
Lauderdale News, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward County, on December
8 and December 15, 1981; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on December 21, 1981, and Cues, Inc., was the
lowest fully responsive and responsible bidder.
WHEREAS, the Council accepted the bid of Cues, Inc., by the adoption of
Resolution R 82-1, on January 13, 1982.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the lowest bidder, Cues, Inc., has offered to reduce the
amount of the contract and, accordingly, the Council accepts the offer and the bid
in the lower amount of $77,000.00 for a TV/Seal Truck Mounted System.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.

I was pleased to hear that the council accepted our bid proposal for a new
TV/Seal System for the City. Due to the circumstances involved with this
bid, we will be able to deliver this system for the price of $77,000.00
instead of the $80,325.00 which was our bid price. This price adjustment
is in line with the original quote we sent you on November 4, 1981,..
Please forward your puchase order to us as soon as possible so we can set up
a schedule for delivery and training.
