CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-82-
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS
VEHICLES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has notified the City Council that
the following vehicle inventoried to Tamarac Utilities West no longer
meets the criteria for use by the City, and it is recommended this
vehicle be declared surplus and offered for sale through a competi4t
tiv'e bid process;
Tandem Tank Trailer No. 1
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has notified the City
Council that the following vehicles, inventoried to Public Works
Department, no longer meet the criteria for use by the City, and it
is recommended that these vehicles be declared surplus and offered
for sale through a competitive bid process;

WHEREAS, the City Council desires to accept these recommend-
ations and proceed to dispose of these vehicles in accordance with
the provisions of the City Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The the sixteen (16) vehicles described above and
in the Notice of Sale, attached hereto, are declared to be surplus
City property and are.authorized to be offered for sale through the
solicitation for sealed bids.
SECTION 2: Bid award or awards shall be subject to review
and approval of the City Council.

The items offered for sale are on an "as is basis" and the City of Tamarac makes no
guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied, as to the operational or physical
condition of the items.
The items may be inspected from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday at
Tamarac Utilities West, 7801 NW 61 Street, Tamarac, Florida, by contacting Ralph
Thissen, Public Works Director at 722-4210.
Sealed bids must be submitted on or before on ,
1982, to the office of the City Clerk and will be opened publicly at that time in
City Hall, 5811 NW 88 Avenue, Tamarac, Florida 33321.
Acceptance of any offer is subject to the approval of the Tamarac City Council with
the City reserving the right to reject any or all offers.
Award will be made to the highest qualified bidder. Buyer is to remove these vehicles
within ten (10) working days from award.
