CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-82- 06
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THREE (3) VEHICLES OF
TAMARAC UTILITIES WEST TO BE SURPLUS PROPERTY;
PROVIDING FOR DISPOSITION OF THE VEHICLES; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has notified the City Council
that three (3) vehi-cles, inventoried to Tamarac Utilities West, no
longer meet the criteria for use by the Utilities operations, and has
recommended these items be declared surplus and be disposed of in the
appropriate manner; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has recommended these
surplus vehicles be transferred to that department's inventory; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to accept these
recommendations and proceed to dispose of the surplus vehicles in
accordance with the provisions of the City Code and other applicable
regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Tamarac Utilities West three (3)
vehicles described as follows are declared to be surplus property of
Tamarac Utilities West and are authorized to be transferred to the
inventory of the Public Works Department upon payment of the amount
of $1,500.00 by the General Fund to Tamarac Utilities West, Renewal
and Replacement Fund:

SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
