CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- f
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF PARKING
FOR SOUTHEAST SHOPPING CENTER, INC. (TAMARAC TOWN
SQUARE), PETITION #16-Z-81 (SOUTHWEST CORNER OF
SOUTHGATE BOULEVARD AND N.W. 38 AVENUE, TAMARAC)
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that
Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street parking and load-
ing requirements whenever a hardship would exist by adhering to strict
application thereof, and further provides that the waiver would not be
detrimental to public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of
the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at Southeast Shopping Center, Inc
(Tamarac Town Square) (southwest corner of Southgate Boulevard and N.W.
88th Avenue), Tamarac;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing
thereon and has made a recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
limited waiver requested in the application of Southeast Shopping Center
Inc. (Tamarac Town Square).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application for a limited waiver of
parking of Southeast Shopping Center, Inc. (Tamarac Town Square), Peti-
tion #16-Z-81 (southwest corner of Southgate Boulevard and N.W. 88 Ave-
nue, Tamarac),
is HEREBY APPROVED, and such limited waiver would not be detrimental to
the public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City..
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
