CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R - 8 2 -181
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EXCEPTION TO
PERMIT THE TEACHING OF ART CLASSES IN A B-1 ZONING
DISTRICT BY THE ARTISTS WORKSHOP, INC., -
PETITION #12-Z-82, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for the grantin�
of special exception to permit the teaching of art classes in a B-1 Zoning District,
ET%
W TAS, a Public Hearing has been held and the public has been
given an opportunity to express their views concerning the application for Special
Exception; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that the
petition for special exception would be in keeping with the public health, safety
and general welfare of the City of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That the petition for special exception to permit the
teaching of art classes in a B-1 Zoning District by the Artists Workshop, Inc.,
Petition #12-Z-82 at Brookwood Plaza, 7128 W. McNab Road, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval (if any):
CLASSES AFTER SUNDOWN ARE PROHIBITED UNTIL SUCH TIME AS
PARKING LOT LIGHTS ARE INSTALLED IN COMPLIANCE WITH CITY
SECTION 3:
This
Resolution shall
become effective upon adoption.
