A RESOLUTION GRANTING ONE LIMITED [%AIVER TO PERMIT 900PARKING
FOR MILTON LAVERNIA, INC., PETITION #8-Z-82, FOR A PROPOSED .
MEDICAL BUILDING TO BE LOCATED ON THE VEST SIDE OF UNIVERSITY
DRIVE, SOUTH OF N.W. 71 COURT, IN FRONT OF THE EXISTING
MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING.
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that Council
may grant a limited waiver of the off-street parking and loading requirements when-
ever a hardship would exist by adhering to strict application thereof, and further
provides that the waiver would not be detrimental to public safety, health and
welfare of the citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at a site for a proposed medical office
building on the west side of University Drive, south of N.W. 71 Court, in front of
the existing medical office building; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing thereon
and has made a recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the one limited
waiver requested in the application of Milton Lavernia, Inc., Petition #8-Z-82.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application for one limited parking waiver re-
quested by Milton Lavernia, Inc., Petition #8-Z-82, for 900 parking at a proposed
medical building to be located on the west side of University Drive, south of N.W.
71 Court, in front of the existing medical office building
is HEREBY APPROVED, and such limited waiver would not be detrimental to the public
safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 23rd day of June , 1982.
