A RESOLUTION REPEALING SECTION 1 OF RESOLUTION
R-82-111; PROVIDING NEW LANGUAGE FOR INITIAL AND RENEWAL
IDENTIFICATION CARDS FOR PERSONS LICENSED FOR OR
ENGAGED IN BURGLAR ALARM INSTALLATION AND SERVICE; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, Resolution R-82-111 sets a fee for the identification cards
for persons licensed for, or engaged in burglar alarm installation and service,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to clarify its intent and enact a
provision for an annual renewal of the identification card.
TAMARAC.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SECTION 1: Section 1 of Resolution Number R-82-111 (Temporary
Ordinance #2270) is hereby revoked and in its place it shall provide:
"Section 1: The reimbursement fee for the issuance of an
identification card required by City Ordinance 0-82-34 (Temporary
Ordinance #728) of all persons licensed for, or engaged in burglar
alarm installation or service, is hereby set at twenty dollars ($20.00)
for the initial card. All cards expire on December 31 of each year.
Renewal cards shall be available for a fee of five dollars ($5.00) each
year. These fees shall be nonrefundable."
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this'Aay of 1982.
