CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- gam
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF PARKING
FOR SUNFLOWER SHOPPING CENTER, LOCATED AT THE SOUTH-
EAST CORNER OF N.W. 82 STREET AND UNIVERSITY DRIVE;
PETITION #7-Z-82; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, -Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that
council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street parking and load-
ing requirements whenever a hardship would exist by adhering to strict
application thereof, and further provides that the waiver would not be
detrimental to public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of
the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at Sunflower Shopping Center,
located at the southeast corner of N.W. 82 Street and University Drive;a
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing
thereon and has made a recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
Ilimited waiver requested in the application of Saul Strachman for
Sunflower Shopping Center, located at the southeast corner of N.W. 82
�0 Street and University Drive, Petition #7-Z-82.
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,

FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application for limited waiver of
)arking for Sunflower Shopping Center, Petition #7-Z-82, for a total of
line (9) spaces, three (3) of which shall be designated as handicapped spaces,
is HEREBY APPROVED, and such limited waiver Would not be detrimental to
the public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon
