RESOLUTION NO. R—grZ -
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING JON M. HENNING AS
CITY ATTORNEY.
WHEREAS, the City Council has received applications from persons
interested in serving as City Attorney for the City of Tamarac and has conducted
interviews of the most qualified persons, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has, by motion, adopted on May 10, 1982,
appointed Jon M. Henning to serve as City Attorney for the City of Tamarac at a
starting salary of FORTY-FOUR THOUSAND ($44,000.00) DOLLARS per annum, and
WHEREAS, Jon M. Henning has accepted said appointment of the
Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Jon M. Henning be and is hereby appointed to
serve as City Attorney of the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 2: That the starting salary of Jon M. Henning shall be
FORTY-FOUR THOUSAND ($44,000.00) DOLLARS which is inclusive of a car allowance and
pension. That he be subject to the health plan of the City employees as well as
vacation and sick leave, the first six months are a probationary period, an eval-
uation of his further consideration of salary be not less than ten months from the
engagement period, that he be entitled to the group life insurance program of the
City.
SECTION 3: That Jon M. Henning shall assume the position of City
Attorney effective 12:01 A.M., Tuesday, June 1, 1982, and shall serve at the
pleasure of the City Council.
