HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity of Tamarac Resolution R-82-1251 ' Introduced by: Temp. 2162 2 3 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA 4 RESOLUTION NO. 40-002 —/o?,5 5 A RESOLUTION GRANTING AN EXCEPTION PERMIT FROM PLATTING 6 REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY LINDSLEY, INC., A FLORIDA CORPORATION. b BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: 9 SECTION 1: FINDINGS OF FACT 10 1. The property which is the subject of this Exception Permit is 11 owned by LINDSLEY, INC., a Florida Corporation. 2. The property is located between Commercial Boulevard and N.W. 3 57th Street. 14 3. The property is a developed parcel on which exists a retail 15 lumber and hardware store. 16 4. A revised site plan has been submitted for review by the City 17 Council, together with a Developers Agreement, which have been reviewed and _ H approved by this Council. A 5. An application has been made for an Exception Permit from the 20 21 platting requirements of the City pursuant to the terms of Section 20-4 of the 22 City Code which permits said permits for such land of size and shape that is in strict conformity with the platting requirements would constitute a 23 24 hardship. 25 6. The City Council finds that an undue hardship to LINDSLEY, INC. 26 would exist because of the time frames required for platting and that since 27 there is no intention to use the property on Exhibit A for anything other than 28 as currently used, that platting would serve no useful purpose. 7. The City Council finds that granting of the exception would not _ 29 30 set a precedent in any way for other and unlike properties. 8. SECTION 3: This Resolution shall be efffective upon adoption. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this o2g-;'"day of 1982.
