HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity of Tamarac Resolution R-82-1188 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 J 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 33 34 35 36 1 2 3 4 5 0S WHEREAS, Section 6.03 of the City Charter mandates establishment of a Redistricting Committee by May lst of each year that redistrict- ing is to be considered; and WHEREAS, the Charter Board has designated Muriel Davis as the Charter Board representative to this Committee; and WHEREAS, the Charter Board has designated John Lachmann and Carl Alper as two public members to this Committee; and WHEREAS, the City Council has designated Councilman Irving M. Disraelly as the Council representative to this Committee; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires, at this time, to designate two public members to this Committee and to reaffirm its previous appointment and acknowledge the Charter Board appointments. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That Muriel Davis is hereby acknowledged as the Charter Board representative to the 1982 Redistricting Committee. SECTION 2: That John Lachmann and Carl Alper are hereby acknowledged as the two public members appointed by the Charter Board to the 1982 Redistricting Committee. SECTION 3: That the appointment of Councilman Irving M. Disraelly as the Council representative to the 1982 Redistricting Committee is hereby reaffirmed. SECTION 4: That Philip Solomon and Helen Sobel are hereby appointed by the City Council to serve as two additional members of the public to the 1982 Redistricting Committee.
