HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity of Tamarac Resolution R-82-107Introduced by 14 Temp # 2250 1 2 3 4 5 _8 9 10 11 13 14 15 16 i 17' 21 22 23 24 25 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA RESOLUTION NO. - FW A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS WATER METERS WHEREAS, the City Engineer has notified the City Council that sixty (60) 2-inch water meters, inventoried to Tamarac Utilities West no longer meet the criteria for use by the City, and it is recommended these water meters be declared surplus and offered for sale through a competitive bid process; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to accept this recommendation and proceed to dispose of these water meters in accordance!with_the provisions of the City Code. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA. SECTION 1: That the sixty (60) 2-inch water meters described in the Notice of Sale, attached hereto, are declared to be surplus City property and are authorized to be offered for sale through the solicitation for sealed bids. SECTION 2: Bid award or awards shall be subject to review and approval of the City Council. The items may be inspected from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday thru Friday at Tamarac Utilities West, 7801 N.W. 61 Street, Tamarac, Florida. If further information is required, contact Mr. Robert Woelke, 726-2300.
