1 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
2 RESOLUTION NO. R- gg 0 O
3 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A CITY REPRESENTATIVE
TO KIRYAT TIVON; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

5 WHEREAS, the City Council anticipates having a sister city in Kiryat
� 6 Tivon, Israel; and
7 WHEREAS, a visitation has taken place by a resident of Tamarac and a
8 report was given to Council; and
9 WHEREAS, other residents of the city will be visiting the principal
10 officials of Kiryat Tivon.
1-1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

SECTION 1: That the greetings of the City of Tamarac to the City of
Kiryat Tivon, Israel, shall be presented by Robert Shurr, who is designated as
Commissioner of Human Relations, for the length of his stay in Kiryat Tivon, and
Jack Wiener shall present the Key to the City of Tamarac to the Mayor of the
City of Kiryat Tivon, and both shall report to the City Council upon their return.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
