CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. --$/—
A RESOLUTION PERMITTING PARKING IN THE MEDIANS BETWEEN
PROSPECT ROAD AND N.W. 53RD STREETS, NORTH AND SOUTH
BETWEEN N.W. 23RD AND 28TH AVENUES; SETTING FORTH CON-
DITIONS THEREFOR; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 15-1 of the Tamarac City Code prohibits parking
in medians without specific consent of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to permit parking on the
medians between Prospect Road and N.W. 53rd Streets North and South between
N.W. 23rd and 28th Avenues (N.W. 53rd streets are essentially service roads for
Prospect Road).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Between the hours of 6:00 AM and 2:00 AM
vehicular parking of automobiles is permitted in the medians between Prospect
Road and N.W. 53rd Streets, North and South between N.W. 23rd and 28th Avenues
provided that the vehicles enter and back out of the medians from the service
roads.
SECTION 2: The City Manager is directed to arrange for the
placement of signs in the medians permitting parking.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
