RESOLUTION NO. R-
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A SPECIAL
EXCEPTION TO PERMIT A RESTAURANT
TO OPERATE IN A B-1 ZONING DISTRICT LOCATED
EAST OF CENTURY BANK at NW 79th Avenue & Commercial Blv
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of the
City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance
with the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing
regarding Special Exception to permit a restaurant
to operate in a B-1 zoning district at 79th Avenue & Commercial Blvd.
and the said public hearing has been held in accordance with the
notice and the public has been given an opportunity to be, and
Has been heard; and the Council has examined and investigated the
request for the Special Exception herein and has received the
recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the public hearing has been held on Petition No.
#51 -80 , by the City COuncil pursuant to the Charter; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the public health, safety,
morals and general welfare of the public would not be adversely
affected by granting such Special Exception.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION I: That a restaurant
be permitted to
operate in a B--1 zoning district at 79th Avenue & Commercial Blvd.
Tamarac, Florida.
SECTION 2: That approval of Special Exception is granted on
the following conditions: Applicant has agreed to curb the median
on N. W. 57th Street on all sides in front of his property.
