CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. $/- %3
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH INTEREST RATES TO BE CREDITED
TO MEMBER CONTRIBUTIONS IN THE CITY PENSION PLAN; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section V of the Tamarac Pension Plan (Ordinance No. 77-18
as amended) provides that interest shall be credited to employee contributions
at the rate of at least three percent per year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wants to increase said interest from the
level currently being credited.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the interest rate credited by the City of
Tamarac on member contributions to the City Pension Plan is hereby established
at five percent (S%) per annum.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective on June 1, 1981.
