A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHANGE ORDER TO A
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY AND CAMPANELLA
CORPORATION FOR STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS -
ENGINEERS PROJECT #1707-2A - BID #80-30 -
WESTWOOD COMMUNITY 5 - N.W. 83 STREET OUTFALL.
WHEREAS, the City Council awarded a bid in the amount of
$68,950.00 to Campanella Corporation for Storm Drainage Improvements,
Westwood Community 5, N.W. 83 Street Outfall, on December 10, 1980,
by Resolution 80-272, and
WHEREAS, on January 14, 1981, a contract was entered into
between the City and Campanella Corporation to accomplish said storm
drainage improvements, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined additional work
is necessary under this contract and has recommended that Change
Order No. 1 in the amount of $6,599.00 be approved increasing the
total contract amount to $75,549.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
RRCTTON 1: That the Change Order No. 1, in the amount of
$6,599.00, to a contract between the City and Campanella Corporation
for storm drainage improvements, Westwood Community 5, N.W. 83 Street
Outfall, is HEREBY APPROVED, increasing the original contract amount
from $68,950- 00 to $75,549.00. A copy of said Change Order No. 1 is
attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
RRCTTON 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
