CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- �
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF
THE GENERAL ELECTION FOR CITY COUNCIL
DISTRICTS 1 AND 3.
WHEREAS, the General Election was held on March 10, 1981,
wherein.the Electorate of the City of Tamarac was to choose one (1)
candidate for the Office of Council Representative from District 1
and one (1) candidate for the Office of Council Representative
from District 3; and
WHEREAS, the County Canvassing Board has canvassed the
results of the machine voting and the absentee ballots, and has
certified such results to the City Clerk of the City of Tamarac;
and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has reviewed the certification
from the County Canvassing Board, and has presented her findings
to the City Council for a formal Certification and Declaration of
the Results.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Philip B. Kravitz being the only
candidate who filed for the Office of City Council - District 1
is declared to have been elected as Council Representative from
District 1 for a term of two (2) years.
SECTION 2: That Irving M. Disraelly being the only
candidate who filed for the Office of City Council - District 3
is declared to have been elected as Council Representative from
District 3 for a term of two (2) years.
SECTION 4: That Philip B. Kravitz and Irving M. Disraelly
shall take office in accordance with the provisions of Section 1,
of Ordinance #76-8.
