CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R_,/' .,,2
A RESOLUTION -DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
GENERAL ELECTION VOTING ON AN AMENDMENT TO
THE CITY CHARTER.
WHEREAS, a General Election was held on March 10, 1981,
wherein the electorate was asked to vote on amendments to the Charter
of the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the County Canvassing Board has canvassed the
results of the machine voting and absentee ballots and has certified
such results to the Election Board of the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has reviewed the certification
from the County Canvassing Board and has presented their findings
to the City Council for a formal Certification and Declaration of
the results.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the following is hereby certified and
declared as the official results of the public vote at the General
Election of March 10, 1981, for the proposed Charter Amendment:
QUESTION 1: Amendment to Section 4.04 of the City Charter.

AGAINST
SECTION 2: That having received approval of -a majority
of the voters voting on this amendment, the amendment labeled
QLips ion now becomes a part of the existing City Charter
of the City of Tamarac, which was adopted at the General Election
held on March 10, 1981, and subsequently amended.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this Z;Z" day of M h, 1981.
