A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY -
OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE DEPARTMENT
OF HEALTH & REHABILITATIVE SERVICES FOR A JUVENILE
WORK PROGRAM
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION I: That the appropriate City Officials are
hereby authorized to execute a contract, attached as Exhibit
"A", with the Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services
for a Juvenile Work Program.
SECTION 2: That the Director of Puhl i r• Wnrlrc nnA +l,o
Juvenile Specialist are designated to have performed on -site
supervision for all juveniles participating in this program.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.

C O N T R A C T
The Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services hereby
contracts with CITY OF TAMARAC
to provide community service work program site (s) for children who
have, pursuant to law, been made the responsibility of the Depart-
ment of Health and Rehabilitative Services. On -site supervision of
children involved in this work program will be the responsibility of
THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS AND THE -JUVENILE SPECIALIST TAl`1ARAC POLIO DEPT
The Department having the primary responsibility will provide that
workmen's compensation coverage required by Section 39.11 (6), Florida
Statutes, and further authorized by Section 440.10 (1), Florida Statutes,
and will at all times have access to its juveniles who are performing in
such work program so as to verify the appropriateness of the program.
