CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-81-259
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR BOILER AND
MACHINERY INSURANCE BID #81-31
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the Administration to go to bid
at its meeting on September 9, 1981, and,
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News, a
newspaper of general circulation in Broward County on September 14, and
September 21, 1981, and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on November 6, 1981, and,
WHEREAS, Cooke Insurance, Inc., Agent for Federal Insurance Co.
is the lowest fully responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL O-i THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of Cooke Insurance, Inc. Agent for
Federal Insurance Co., at a pro-rata premium of $5,733.00 (blanket policy)
(12/1/81 through 10/1/82) with automatic extensions for up to two one-year
22 periods as per paragraph 13 of the General Provisions of the Specifications,.
23 is hereby approved.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 30th day of November, 1981.
