CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION No.
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE WITHDRAWAL OF THE
CITY FROM THE NEXT THREE SUCCESSIVE PROGRAM
YEARS (1982-1985) OF THE BROWARD COUNTY COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City has received notification from the
Director of the Broward County Community Development Division
stafing that the City must decide by November 15, 1981, whether to
withdraw from the Community Development Block Grant Program for the
years 1982-1985; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that there would be no funds
available from Broward County based upon the present guidelines.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The Council has determined that it would be in
the best interests of the City to withdraw from the Broward County
Community Development Block Grant Program for the years 1982-1985.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk is authorized and instructed to
furnish copies of this Resolution to the Broward County Community
Development Division, to the members of the Broward County Commission
and to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
