CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATE
OFFICIALS TO CALL THE BOND POSTED BY
HEFTLER REALTY COMPANY FOR PRIVATE
ON -SITE AND PUBLIC OFF -SITE IMPROVEMENTS
AT HEFTLER HOMES AT TAMARAC
WHEREAS, Heftler Realty Company, as principal, has filed
with the City a Letter of Credit No. 1197 for $79,340.43, with
First American Bank of Palm Beach County as surety, thereunder
toguaranteePrivate on -site and public off -site improvements,
and
WHEREAS, the bond is due to expire and there is not
properly completed work; and
WHEREAS, the principal has been notified that the work
is not properly completed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA.
SECTION 1: That the recitations set forth above are true
and correct.
SECTION 2: That the Letter of Credit No. 1197 - $79,340.43
posted by Heftler Realty Company, as principal and First American
Bank of Palm Beach County, as surety is hereby called by the
City of Tamarac.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
the failure of Heftler Realty Company to renew the bond by
November 10, 1981, or the failure of Heftler Realty Company to
complete all work bonded to the satisfaction of the City Engineer
by November 10, 1981.
