HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity of Tamarac Resolution R-81-024Introduced by: Temp. #1842 1 2 3 4 5 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 120 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 33 34 35 36 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA RESOLUTION NO. ,e- A RESOLUTION REMOVING POLICE CHIEF FROM PROBATIONARY STATUS WHEREAS, on May 14 ,1980 the City Council ratified the City Manager's appointment of Joseph McIntosh as Chief of Police, and WHEREAS, said appointment was subject to a twelve month probationary period, and WHEREAS, the performance of Chief McIntosh as Chief of Police has been outstanding, and WHEREAS, Chief McIntosh has substantially upgraded the professionalism and morale in the Police Department, and WHEREAS, the City Council believes that it now has one of the most out- standing departments and Police Chiefs in South Florida, and WHEREAS, it is evident that no further probationary period is needed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: The probationary status of Chief Joseph McIntosh is hereby lifted. SECTION 2: This Resolution shall be effective upon adoption. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this�day of ,1981.
