A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE SIGN ORDINANCE
REQUESTED BY MARSHALL'S DEPARTMENT STORE, 7501 N.W. 57th
Street (Tamarac Shopping Plaza) FOR STYLE OF LETTERING
ON THE FREE-STANDING SIGN ON UNIVERSITY DRIVE.
WHEREAS, Marshall's Department Store has requested a waiver
from the Sign Ordinance NO. 80-34 (Code Section 21) governing
signs; and
WHEREAS, the Beautification Committee reviewed this request
and has made recommendation thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official reviewed said waiver.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA.
SECTION 1: That the waiver to the Sign Ordinance requested
by Marshall's Department Store, 7501 N.W. 57th Street
for a free-standing sign on west side of center at University
Drive is hereby approved.
SECTION 2: Conditions: Subject to height of sign being
within criteria of City Code.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 14th day of October , 1981.
