CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- — ?p
A RESOLUTION RELEASING A PERFORMANCE BOND
POSTED FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AT WOODMONT
TRACT 72B (TIMBER POINT) PROJECT.
WHEREAS, Montwood, Inc, as Principal, and Fidelity and
Deposit Company of Maryland, as Surety, has filed with the City a
Surety Bond in the amount of $145,705.00 to guarantee public
improvements at Woodmont Tract 72B (Timber Point) project; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has found that the work has been
satisfactorily completed and has recommended release of said surety
bond upon receipt of a one-year warranty bond in the amount of
$38,532.31.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Surety Bond posted by Montwood, Inc., as
Principal, and Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland, as Surety,
in the amount of $145,705.00, for public improvements at Woodmont
Tract 72B (Timber Point) project, is HEREBY RELEASED, subject to
receipt of a one-year warranty bond in the amount of $38,532.31.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediatell
upon adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this-11, day of 1981.
