RESOLUTION NO. R- 81-2
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
BUYERS ANNUAL REQUIREMENTS OF CHLORINE
ESTIMATED TO BE 185/1 TON CYLINDERS
WHEREAS, The City Council authorized the Administration
to go to bid at its meeting on November 12, 1980 and,
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News
a newspaper of general circulation in Broward County on November 21
and November 28, 1980, and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on December 3, 1980, and
WHEREAS, Allied Universal Corporation is the lowest
fully responsive and responsible supplier.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION I: That the proposal of Allied Universal
Corporation for chlorine in the amount of $222.95 per ton, is
hereby approved.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED thisday o1981.
