CITY OF TANARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION -PERTAINING -TO -THE -TENURE -OF VICE MAYOR
WHEREAS, the position of Vice Mayor is created with O the City
Charter, and
WHEREAS, the Vice Mayor is selected by the members of the Council,
and
WHEREAS, all members of Council, elected by the people are
qualified to serve as Vice -Mayor, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City to allow as many
members of Council as possible the opportunity and privilege of serving the
people of the City as their Vice -Mayor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION -1: A council member selected.as Vice -Mayor should serve
no more than two consecutive one year terms.
SECTION2: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
