CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R_ZL—
1 A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A SPECIAL
Z EXCEPTION TO PERMIT A SERVICE STATION
TO OPERATE IN A B-2 ZONING DISTRICT AT
3 S.W. CORNER OF COMMERCIAL BLVD. & N.W. 31st AVENUE
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of the

City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance
with the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing
regarding Special Exception to permit A SERVICE STATION

to operate in a B-2 zoning district at SA4. Corner of Commercial Blvd &
9 31st Avenue, Tamarac.
and the said public hearing has been held in accordance with the
10
notice and the public has been given an opportunity to be, and
11
has been heard; and the Council has examined and investigated the
12
request for the Special Exception herein and has received the
13
recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Tamarac; and
14
WHEREAS, the public hearing has been held on Petition No.2-Z-81
15
by the City COuncil pursuant to the Charter; and
16
WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the public health, safety,
17
morals and general welfare of the public would not be adversely
affected by granting sucl"i Special Exception.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

SECTION I: That a Service Station be permitted to
22
operate in a B-2 zoning district at S.W. Corner of Commercial Blvd &
23
31st Avenue, Tamarac.

SECTION 2: That approval of Special Exception is granted on
25
the following conditions:

1 - No food sold or dispensed.
27
2 - No auto repairs.

3 - No car or trailer rentals.

4 - The greens area adjacent to N.W. 31st Avenue shall be bermed
with shrubs and plantings in excess of those required by the
Code and to be reviewed by the City Planner before presentation
to the Beautification Committee.
5 - No vehicle storage overnight.
6 - Installation of a 5-foot sidewalk surrounding the property.
