CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- 9 7-/
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF PARKING
FOR TROPICAL GARDENS, 7910 UNIVERSITY DRIVE,
TAMARAC, LOT 12, BLOCK 11, LYONS COMMERCIAL
SUBDIVISION NO. 3.- PETITION NO. 8-Z-81
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that
Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street parking and load-
ing requirements whenever a hardship would exist by adhering to strict
application thereof, and further provides that the waiver would not be
detrimental to public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of
the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at Tropical Gardens, 7910
University Drive, Tamarac;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing
thereon and has made a recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
limited waiver requested in the application of Tropical Gardens,
7910 University Drive, Tamarac, Petition No. 8-Z-81.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application for a limited waiver of
the parking requirements of Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code for
Tropical Gardens, 7910 University Drive, Tamarac, Petition No. 8-Z-81,
is HEREBY APPROVED, SUBJECT to review on or before July 1, 1982,
and such limited waiver would not be detrimental to
the public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City,.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 8th day ofN July 1981.
