A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF A GRANT OF EASEMENT OFFERED BY UNIVERSITY
REALTY ASSOCIATES TO THE CITY FOR DRAINAGE PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Grant of Easement offered by
University Realty Associates for the right of ingress and egress
for drainage purposes on the north 10 feet of the south 20 feet
of the east 260 feet of parcel one, University Community Medical
Plaza, Plat Book 102, Page 43 of the Public Records of Broward
County Florida to the City is hereby approved.
SECTION 2: That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to
record this Grant of Easement in the Public Records of Broward
County Florida.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED

RECORD OF COUNCIL VOTE
GRANT OF EASEMENT
THIS INDENTURE, made this 1/ day of 1981,
by and between UNIVERSITY REALTY ASSOCATIONS, a Florida General
Partnership, (hereinafter referred to as "Grantor"), and the CITY
OF TAMARAC, having its principal palce of business in the City
Hall, P. 0. Box 24010, City of Tamarac, Broward County, Florida,
(hereinafter referred to as "Grantee").
W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS, GRANTOR owns land lying and situate in the City
of Tamarac, Broward County, Florida, and more particularly
described in Exhibit"A", attached hereto and made a part hereof
by reference; and,
WHEREAS, GRANTOR is desirous of granting to GRANTEE, its
successors and assigns, an easement or right-of-way on, over,
upon, under and across the land described in Exhibit "A", for the
purposes expressed below; and,
WHEREAS, GRANTEE is desirous of having GRANTOR grant
such easement of right-of-way and is willing to accept same.
NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the covenants
herein contained and other good and valuable consideration, the
receipt and sufficiency of which is acknowledged, GRANTOR grants
unto GRANTEE, its successors and assigns, an easement on, over,
upon, under and across the land described in Exhibit "A" for
drainage purposes; and with the right of ingress and egress on,
over and upon the land described in Exhibit "A" for the purposes
of exercising the easement herein granted; provided, however, that
such construction, operation and/or maintenance of any drainage
facility shall be in accordance with the then prevailing
standards, as prescribed and delineated by any and all applicable
ordinances of the City of Tamarac, County of Broward, State of
Florida; and further provided, however, that nothing contained
herein shall in any way impose any duty or obligation upon
GRANTEE, its successors assigns, to construct, operate and/or
maintain the above -described drainage facility.

GRANTOR, however, for itself, its successors and
assigns, reserves the right and privilege to use the land
described in Exhibit "A" for all purposes, as now and hereafter
permitted by any and all applicable ordinances of the City of
Tamarac, County of Broward and the State of Florida, and not in
conflict with the making of this Grant of Easement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, GRANTOR has set his hand and seal on
