Any member of the public may speak to any issue that is not agendized for public hearing at this meeting.
Speakers will be limited to three minutes during this item and at public hearings. There will be a thirty (30) minute
aggregate time limit for this item, and speakers are encouraged to sign up in advanc e with the C ity C lerk prior to
their participation.
W hen an issue has been designated as quasi-judicial, public remarks shall only be heard during a quasi-judicial
hearing that has been properly notic ed for that matter.

No. 20-11S and authorizing the appropriate City Officials to execute Task Authorization No. 20-11S
with HS Q Group, I nc., to provide professional services for the design of the Tamarac Lakes Section
1 & 2 W ater Main I mprovement Project; including preparation of detailed plans and spec ifications
followed by permitting, bidding assistanc e and limited c onstruction administration support, in
ac cordanc e with the City 's Consulting Engineering Agreement as authorized by Resolution No. R-
2016-80, for an amount not to exceed $149,744.50; authorizing the appropriate C ity Offic ials to

effective date.

Broward Sheriff’s Office; Authorizing the Appropriate C ity Offic ials to Execute the Sixth Amendment
to the Agreement for Police Servic es; Providing for Conflic ts; Providing for Severability and
Providing for an Effec tive Date.

A Resolution for the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, approving agreement
amendment #4 between the City of Tamarac and J eff Ellis Management, L L C adding to the scope
of servic es the management of W aters Edge Park Splash Pad facility at a cost $30,607, plus the
cost of chemical from Marc h 1, 2020 – D ec ember 31, 2020; providing for an appropriation and
expenditure of funds for the management of the W aters Edge Park Splash Pad fac ility ; providing for
conflic ts; providing for severability ; and providing for an effective date.

An ordinanc e of the City Commission of the C ity of Tamarac, Florida, amending Chapter 6
of the City ’s C ode of Ordinances entitled “Finance and Taxation”, spec ific ally amending
Article V Entitles “Tamarac Procurement Code” by updating and modernizing existing
procurement means and methods; creating a veterans preference; providing for c odific ation;
providing for Conflic ts; providing for severability ; providing for an effective date.

The C ity Commission may consider and act upon such other business as may come before it. I n the event this
agenda must be revised, suc h revised copies will be available to the public at the City C ommission meeting.
