CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-2-91-9-- Viiviv /
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING
THE DONATION OF A 37 PASSENGER BUS FROM
THE TAMARAC PARKS AND RECREATION
FOUNDATION TO BE USED FOR RECREATION
ACTIVITIES IN THE CITY OF TAMARAC;
DIRECTING THAT THE FINAL BOOK VALUE OF
$40,500 WILL BE RECORDED IN THE CITY'S
FIXED ASSET INVENTORY; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac hosts a number of special events and provides
• various programming and activities for its residents and visitors alike; and
WHEREAS, for some special events and other programming and activities, the
City has a need to use buses for transporting individuals and supplies from location to
location; and
WHEREAS, in the past the City has rented buses as needed for City special
events, summer camp, youth and senior programs and other city functions; and
WHEREAS, the Tamarac Parks and Recreation Foundation, wishes to donate a
37 passenger bus estimated to be a 2013 model book valued at $40,500.00 to the City
of Tamarac for use at City special events, summer camp, youth and senior programs
and other city functions; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac agrees to accept a donation from the Tamarac
Parks and Recreation Foundation of a bus estimated to be a 2013 model valued at
411 $40,500.00 for use at City special events, summer camp, youth and senior programs

and other city functions; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Director and Director of Finance
recommend that the City of Tamarac accept a donation from the Tamarac Parks and
Recreation Foundation of a 37 passenger bus estimated to be a 2013 model book
valued at $40,500.00 for use at City special events, summer camp, youth and senior
programs and other city functions; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, deems it
to be in the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to accept a
donation from the Tamarac Parks and Recreation Foundation of a 37 passenger bus
estimated to be a 2013 model book valued at $40,500.00 for use at City special events,
summer camp, youth and senior programs and other city functions; and •
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this
Resolution.
SECTION 2: The City of Tamarac accepts a donation from the Tamarac Parks
and Recreation Foundation of a 37 passenger bus estimated to be a 2013 model book
valued at $40,500.00 for use at City special events, summer camp, youth and senior
programs and other city functions; and
SECTION 3: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby •

repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is
held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
